LogControl® - WHM

A warehouse management system (WMS) is a key part of the supply chain management and primarily aims to control the movement and storage of materials within a warehouse and process the associated transactions, including receiving, transfer, replenishment, picking and loading. The systems also directs and optimizes stock put away based on real-time information about the status of bin utilization.

LogControl®-WHM

  

LogControl® is efficient software with modular structure designed for advanced warehouse management. This is an integrated system with transparently traceable material flow: product tracking from receiving, picking, tour planning, dispatch with track and trace to the customer.

LogControl® utilizes modern technologies such as barcode scanners, mobile computers, wireless LANs and Radio-frequency identification (RFID), pick-to-light, pick by voice to efficiently monitor the stock flow in real time. So the system could provide useful reports about the status of goods in the warehouse.
The high functionality is extended by a supplementary product portfolio, e. g., for inventory sampling or process controlling. New requirements are flexibly implemented by adding optional functions, and in case of special configurations, we will create a system which is matching your needs. This is completed by comprehensive service concepts.

·         LogControl^® - WHM supports main warehouse data and activities – items, stocks, warehouse locations, users, as all the operations and documents, concerning receipts, returns, replenishment, picking, shipping, loading. Here are the main functions of the system:

o    Multiple Distribution Centers, buildings, storage systems (conventional, drive in, mobile, etc.) and locations could be defined in the system.

o    Every stock in the warehouse could be traced by different parameters as Lot number, Expiration date, Serial number, etc. For the items different units of measurement and many barcodes could be defined.

o    Receipt could be made based on the supplier’s document or without any document. After receiving, a pallet number is generated and a label could be printed for the pallet.

o    Barcode label designer is the tool for design and print any kind of barcode labels for the stock, according to the specific customer’s needs.

o    Put the stock in the most appropriate location in the warehouse, according to the predefined criteria as ABC category of the item or the locations priority.

o    Commissioning

This module supports customers orders execution. The reservation of stock for the orders could follow different scenarios and strategies as FIFO, FEFO, optimized picking route, locations outbound priority, etc.

Multiple orders can be commissioned simultaneously. The orders could be grouped by different criteria – by Customer, by item, by route.

There is an option to pick and pack the stock in a certain container at the same time.

o    Replenishment

The system could propose replenishment if there is not enough stock in picking locations. The replenishment decision is made based on the minimum quantity.

o    Cross docking

Inbound and Outbound logistics in one step. If there are shortages for Customer’s order, the system proposes the order to be executed from the receiving ramp. Thus the moment there is such stock on the receiving ramp, it’s redirected to the expedition ramp without putting in the warehouse.

·         LogControl^® - WHM for logistics service providers (3PL companies)

Stock Billing Module is web application tool, which supports estimation and calculations for all the logistics services that 3PL companies offer to their customers. This module takes the information from WHM module and according to the price lists (which could be different for different customers), calculates the prices for rent per pallet location, receipts, order executions and all the other services in the warehouse for a certain period of time.

·         LogControl^® - ERP/PPS-Interfaces

The effectiveness of a logistics information system depends on its ability to easy integration with other information systems as ERP/MRP.

Log Control ERP/PPS-Interfaces module supports CSV, ASCII and XML files transfer as well as communication through database and could build interfaces for all ERP systems – SAP, Navision, Oracle as well as local information systems.

Besides the import/export basic information (Items, Receipt, Orders), this module supports also the following specific functions: Item code change, Receipt cancelation, Stock corrections, Order status, Picking cancelation, Stock status change.

·         LogControl^® - WRT (Web Reporting Tool)

A comprehensive easy to use web tool for generating reports using the basic data from the warehouse management system (LogControl^® - WHM). Thus users can evaluate the daily work and to identify undesirable developments at an early stage, productivity ratios for managing the employees and key quality data for monitoring the logistical targets are important parameters.

Structural and underlying key figures represent the logistical organization in a company. They provide information about the tasks to be accomplished, about the necessary personnel capacities and the costs incurred.

·         LogControl^® - WHI (WareHouseInventory) -  to reduce inventory efforts

LogControl®-WHI provides a variety of processes (random-sample, zero-item flow inventory, remaining stock count) to reduce the inventory effort considerably and/or to postpone it to weak times.
Based on the incorporated processes, LogControl®-WHI reduces the inventory effort by up to 90 %.
Personnel and down times as well as counting effort are reduced.
